KeyResponsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop design solutions for academic buildings, offices, libraries, hostels, auditoriums, and recreational spaces.
• Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and space plans in alignment with the university's identity and functionality.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, MEP consultants, and vendors to ensure integrated and cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Oversee the selection of furniture, lighting, color schemes, finishes, and materials.
• Ensure all design work complies with safety standards, regulations, and sustainability principles.
• Participate in project budgeting, timeline estimation, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with procurement teams for timely acquisition of required materials and finishes.
• Innovate to incorporate modern design trends while balancing institutional needs and durability.

Qualifications& Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
• 5–9 years of proven experience in interior design, preferably including institutional, educational, or large-scale commercial projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong project management and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaborative team settings.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and sustainable design practices.
