Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Placement Manager to lead the Training & Placement Department. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of successful student placements, excellent corporate relations, and the ability to secure high-quality job opportunities with competitive salary packages for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective placement strategies to ensure maximum student placements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, industries, and recruitment partners
- Identify new companies and sectors for campus recruitment drives
- Coordinate and organize campus recruitment activities, including job fairs, drives, and interviews
- Achieve placement targets in terms of number of students placed and quality of packages offered
- Guide and mentor students for placements through career counseling, resume building, and interview preparation
- Collaborate with academic departments to align training programs with industry requirements
- Maintain and update placement records, reports, and analytics
- Represent the institution in corporate meetings, seminars, and industry interactions
- Ensure continuous improvement in placement processes and outcomes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Training & Placement / Corporate Relations
- Proven track record of achieving high placement percentages and securing attractive salary packages
- Strong network with corporates and recruiters across industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including students, faculty, and recruiters
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification
- Experience in the education sector/university setup will be an added advantage
